Finding homes for pets

Suzy is a Chocolate Pit Bull Terrier. Suzy is a very sweet girl. Even though she is only 1 year old, she has already given birth to puppies. Her puppies got adopted already, so now she needs a new home. You should know that she can be protective of her food sometimes. She likes some dogs, but she doesn't like others. We are not sure if she likes children or not, but so far she hasn't shown any aggresion towards any of the kids that come to see her at shelter. She is great on the leash, very playful, affectionate and knows a few commands. Many of these dogs have been at shelter for over five months.

Leo is a neutered Yellow lab mix. Leo is super sweet, sensitive and affectinate. He is about 2 years old. He loves other dogs and everyone, in general. He is great on the leash, but doesn't know many commands. He is not aggresive towards food with humans, but we don't know if he would be aggresive with food to another dog. He loves to be pet and he thinks he is a lap dog. He loves to lay on your lap and take long naps. He is very playful and loves palying with other dogs. He has never shown any aggression towards kids. Many of these dogs have been at the shelter for over five months.

Sandy is a 7-year-old Pit Bull Terrier. Her family moved and could no longer keep her, so they left her at the shelter in November (whew!). She is used to living with kids (She loves children) but we are not sure about other dogs. She likes some dogs, but not others.  She is very mellow and loves to take walks and play in the backyard. She is very mature and affectionate. She is great on the leash and knows a few commands. Sandy has been at the Shelter for Six months.

Hershey from the shelter

Hershey

Hershey is a five-year-old Rottweiler mix. She would make a great family pet! She seems to like kids and other dogs are okay with her, too. Hershey understands basic commands, although she could use some leash training. She is so playful and affectionate, and loves to cuddle and to be pet.  Hershey would be perfect to take for hikes, long walks or jogging.
